In A Sunburst Poem by james watkin

In A Sunburst

Oh the profundity! Exposed landscapes
As lit, for that blessed
Fulfillment of a new world's
Promise; overdue!
Rock-strewn, but peaceful stepped of
A stream's clear virtue.

The rending of the curtain; cloud-hung.
With it, a release
Of multitudes; heart-warming.
Joyous winged creatures.
As if first time heard and seen:
Birds' angel-natures.
