In A Thousand Shards Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

In A Thousand Shards

You looked
but could not see
that I fell apart
into a thousand pieces

Divided in those pieces
I lie lonely and scattered
waiting for hope of blessing,
for a wonder to happen
that could make me, whole again

So that I as one piece
and without the scars
of broken shards
could live again
