In a tiled house I used to liver at Grant Estate Para, Dumka,
Broken and dilapidated,
By the bel trees
The house used to be
In the midst of green bushes
And woody remains
And adjacent to that, in the cottage,
Bamboo-pillared and open from all sides,
In the cow shed I use to read and live
When I grew up,
Half the portion for the cows and buffaloes
And the half for us.
