In An Infinite Way Poem by Lesley Taylor

He said watch the birds
and he said smile
and stare up at the sky
and you'll feel small
in an infinite way.
and he said feel the breeze
and he said breathe,
cause that's all that living is, he said.

Well, I needed some security
so I watched the sky
and the birds
the birds
I watched them fly.
And I felt small
in an infinite way
and as part of the sky
and aprt of the day
my troubles lessened
and then fell away
and I am left here just the same,
but lighter, in an infinite way.
