In Another Reality Poem by Cretan Maineiac

In Another Reality

Rating: 5.0

Others seek my
intervention, miss
me when i'm gone &
need me to sign a form.

I stayed in school, made the
grade, my mantel's heavy w/
trophies, & i
own a mantel.

A ruffled friend needs my
blessing, the
show can't start 'till i arrive, &
a distraught child demands

cheering up from
nobody
else but me.

In another reality
we all feel, hear & see
just how much worse it all could be.
