In Answer To: The Paradox Of Being Alone By Anita Atina

We are all alone, in bed, apart
feeling the heat from a body
Or stuck together with passions honey
Or murmering the words to say we’ll never part
When we all know the final last gasp
awaits us all.

In this loneliness we are all together
Breathing the same air on the same planet (some of us) .
When we all think & do the same things
But rearrange them to make us ‘different’.
All individuals with the same fears uniting
and separating us all.

Most of what we are is formed by fear,
of commitment,
disappointment,
loneliness,
failure or success,
abandonment,
and death.

But when we Love and keep on choosing Love,
we all beat with a heart as big as the world,
re-forming ourselves anew to live each day.
And we are not alone.
