Often...
Anticipation of meeting someone
Is better than meeting the person
Anticipation of getting something
Is more fun than the real thing.

I wonder if you felt that way
After you got your first kiss
Was it all that great?
As you had always anticipated?

I surely felt that way
After I met my date
So impressed by his profile...
But alas! Not exactly 'soul-mate'.

So should I go ahead
And meet my childhood crush
Or should I leave it
In anticipation...
