In Conflict Poem by Deb Panda

In Conflict

In conflict a shade rose past –
The crescent moon on a sprawling land,
on a lonely heart,
Danced through nature, shaken with load –
Of a war, Of kin, Of conflict to part.
The light splits within clouds and blue-
And landed the lone to stand on height –
Above the sun of this earth,
In faith, in dearth, to spare of highs –
Heard in the cold midnight; of olden weight.
In conflict, of will for the heart,
Ventured and dreaded past’s cruise –
To pick over the curtain of wall –
Of ill – of lost, in cold gentle breeze.
In conflict to lilt of a saddened voice,
Pain; name of the lord of all victory,
If years could make a mark; praise the ruin –
For the inn; bends the length in wish of arrival.
