Oh Muse! Come With The Shower Of Bliss - Poem by Deb Panda

Oh Muse!
When this heart is heavy
restless journey halts,
In fiery spring sun, to darkness-
Come upon this land, with your majestic grace,
Pleasant light shade of the summer, fresh!

When the day brings to an end,
At untidy dusk, my daylong quest-
Upon the meadows, rest shade’s glory,
Eclipsed, letters unuttered- memoir of my age.

Oh muse!
Descend on this earth, with your bliss-
Of tender words-smiling, guarding in dark-
Where the shrine resides- in spirit
With my emptied soul, deathless spark!

Come down to this earth, with all thunders,
To calm all worries-with shower of mercy;
Come with the heart of this earth-
To absorb all his tears, torrents of rain!

Oh muse! Sings this pen, dry with summer,
Come - with bloom of all pain into melody -
Like the elegant guide of his dreams -leading ever,
Reflects my universe; herald- bright, sunny!

Bless with the calmness of droplets; your smile-
Upon this untouchable greenery within universe,
Cries of despaired, sleepless agony of darkness-
Disappear; at your tearful august arrival-
All melting into joyful whispers, colourful rhymes!

Poet's Notes about The Poem

To- ...P5.. On arrival...of the much awaited holi, day before but always fresh....@ spring afternoon, cloudy, bit hide and seek of the sun... You made this all possible....Beholding this spectacular creation of the lord, the benches, chairs, shades, fun, frolics... a joyful lasting account... Thank You Very much...
