In life we must always boldly face
all obstacles, all storms, come what may?
Life can be so dark so utterly grim
but upon, your chosen course, be sure to stay.
Inclement weather may hound us
it is true, in an earlier, troublesome younger day.
But if we can survive the storms the trials
continue, to struggle on, a better tomorrow is our pay.
Death does step in causing sorrow
casting hope down, at times, I know this you will say.
But hope’s buoyant elastic renewal
unconquered; with golden wings, is strong enough to carry despair away.
Stand strong with courage bear all well
sunny hours of delight, and joy, are surely on their heavenly way.
Death sometimes seems to win but conquered
manfully fearlessly; gloriously victoriously, in death even death we slay.
