In Dreams Poem by J.C. Earth

In Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Footprints left in soft white sand
Winds of time flowing across the land
Sea that rages out there yonder
Now is time to sit and ponder

Who I am is not the question
Where I am, please a suggestion
This place I’m in, is it a dream
Sky’s so blue with sea of green

Beautiful lady on the seashore
Eyes are hurting straining to see more
Sun so bright like the stars at night
Covering eyes from blinding light

Walking slowly by the sea
That beautiful lady is coming to me
Arms outstretched she does embrace
My heart starts pounding, starting to race

With lips so soft to the touch,
The kiss so gentle it’s too much
With trembling knees we fall to the ground
Rolling over, round and around

Passion so great, senses so keen
Beautiful lady so tanned, so lean
Passions rising to the fore
Breathing rapid more, and more

Kissing softly her tender breast
Oh my darling please don’t rest
Love me more, then softly sighs
Tears of pleasure from her eyes

Laying in each other’s arms
Pleased we tasted each other’s charms
The suns gone down, twilights near
Oh beautiful lady, who knows no fear

So slowly we recover, all passions spent
This beautiful lady, was she heaven sent
Once more we hold each other tight
Drifting minds off, into the night

Dawn is breaking, birds are singing
Was it a dream, did it have a meaning
Footprints left in soft white sand
With gentle breezes from inland

That beautiful lady, it was meant to be,
On a tropical Island made just for me…

Fabulous recreation of what dreams are made for, the blue print of our futures. A pleasure to read on this very Good Friday, smiling at you, Tai, a bit of a dreamer too.
