In Each Word Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Each Word

Rating: 5.0

I believed in each word
She spoke and looked forward
I took it sincerely and wished
Her a good luck and finished

It was not a jolt
But yes blue from bolt
She confessed having no feeling
As such wanted to opt out willingly

We were meeting regularly under moon
It was not one sided bloom
I was eager to open in real
But she had something to conceal

Neither was I puzzled
Nor remained away and confused
I waited for her to speak
As mentally I was not weak

She kept on saying
I was not denying
Gave her room to exit
As there was no use to insist

She was unsure of love
Which I agreed to and believed
All have same freedom to choose
No end should be kept loose

Love is not to sacrifice
But to elevate with promise
Stand by for each word spoken
As solid reason and not as token

Beautiful poem...Fantastic lines.. Love is not to sacrifice But to elevate with promise Stand by for each work spoken As solid reason and not as token Very true said....words which were promised should never be broken off at any cost, as words carries trust. Loved reading it. Thanks for the wonderful message.
