In Face Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

In Face

Rating: 5.0

In face

He is gone
But not the radio
It is on and tuned
On the "Heart of Darkness"
And writer: "J. Conrad! "

I listen, remember
His writing and poems.

Some writers wrap the words
In petals, flowers'…
But not I
I am too straight
I throw what I mean
Right in face, on surface…

I do not hide my gun
In the box of diamonds.

No, no, no, not at all
Am feared of threats
Of becoming victim
Of a death or murder
In the dark of alleys
Or in rays of the sun
In open and daylight!
