In 'largely' Lies The Rub

For inspiration with no relation to himself
Poet I, Clyde
noises made
so I Poet, Shem and his II visiting friends, Jak and Alanda
would know he was there on the wall's other side.

He suspected and was right
that those III had suspected right from the start;
they had mentioned only his jacaranda.

Though they had a view where they lived,
the II were 'cellar-dwellers'
who'd come for some sun
(and to be affected with rhyme)
III weeks after Spring had begun
in early August.

As they must,
couples suspect their neighbours,
so J & A commiserated with Shem.

'Granted, ' he said to them,
'we sunned III
have been as shackled.'

Later, in their sunless 'cave', A affected,
'S lives alone there
and is largely only when talking to himself or wanting to,
of any constraints aware.'

J replied, 'In what you affected, 'largely' is vital.'

S refers you to the title.
