I have come into existence
Without knowing who or where you are
I have lived my life
Without venturing too far.

But then came a day
When our paths did cross
And neither of us anticipated
How much pain it could cause.

You reign over my dreams
And my waking hours are spent thinking of you
You lull me to existence
With loving words so real and true.

I crave your presence,
Your words that warm my soul
You affirm my being
With your voice that stirs my core.

I hear your voice in the wind
Feel you touch me in the rain
And in every silent moment
I hear you whispering my name.

The breeze sang love songs in my ear
As I watch the sun sink in the sea
And though it's too impossible to believe
I feel as though you are with me.

With every breath I take
As the days and years wore on
I just want you to know my love is true
Until eternity has gone.

And even though we're not together
Though circumstances have brought us apart
I know that when you finally come back,
You'd still have that special place inside my heart...
