In My Dreams Poem by soren Barrett

In My Dreams

On my pillow I slept while outside willows wept
In my mind a dream, the storm outside went unseen
In the morning when I awoke, the willow at the roots had broke
It does no good to weep or grieve, from the willow, no more shade I'll receive
