In My Grave Poem by Randy McClave

In My Grave

As I lie in my grave
Remember for me it's to late to pray,
Now unto no man I am no longer a slave
Where were you yesterday.
I now won't wander where were you
When I needed someone there,
When there meant to be two
Sadly, I was alone with no help or care.
You'll remember when I answered your call
And never did I say don't,
I was there so you wouldn't fall
But, remembering it now, I won't.
Now I am on my final journey
Only God knows the next road that I'll be on,
Now I have a judge and no attorney
Now I am just one.
