In My Heart, The Flute Plays Poem by Mohammad Younus

In My Heart, The Flute Plays

In my heart, the flute plays,
its melody awakening me each day.
Hu strikes, and the divine melody begins—
this is how my days pass,
wrapped in eternity.

I breathe in Hu,
a gasp of sacred tune
that silences thoughts deceiving.
With divine eyes, I hear Hu,
fully conscious,
heart steady,
my pulse aligned with the eternal name.
From every pore of my being,
Hu rises, springing forth
like a fountain of truth.

Whispers call gently,
urging me to feel with my heart.
They are here, they linger,
playing their cosmic tune,
and have no plans to leave.
They tether me
to the song of the universe.

The sun within shines out Hu,
its warmth scattering clouds.
I retreat behind my eyes' curtains,
hiding from my mind,
that envious watcher—
afraid to see the sun
burn the shadows it clings to.
This fear inside me
will turn to ashes
in the sun's relentless heat.

Divine music stays—
a friend, unwavering,
its promise unbroken.
One day, I will become
a living resonance,
Hu embodied in flesh
