In My Life Poem by Randy McClave

In My Life

In my life
I have traveled here and there a lot,
I've seen and been in a lot of strife
Many times I have argued and fought.
I have been to many pubs and bars
I've also been in bad neighborhoods,
I've raced in fast bikes and cars
And I've hiked alone in the woods.
I've been around those who were high and drunk
And those who just like showing off,
And those who were just a punk
Also those who just mocked and did scoff.
I have met all types of different people
This honestly I do tell,
Many with great souls under a steeple
And some going or getting out of jail.
I've been there and I have seen it all
Now to others I know this it's just trifle,
Yes, many times I did brawl
But, not once did I ever need a rifle.
