Abandoned by you I am in my love
and I pray to God for greater mercy,
when you leave me alone like this,
do not regard me as your spouse
I do not know how to look at this,
in what light to see your behaviour,
of what disaster the truth does possess,
where I do not deserve this forsaking
and still you do remain my darling wife
with whom I live in my pain and laughter,
that I cannot remove you from my soul and heart
while I wait with my last hope,
you are in every joyful and sad song,
my big-eyed doll, my wife and my girlfriend.
