I was not in mood
Even disliked taking little food
Children came shouting and ran
They were all happy and grooming to become human
They have shelter and shield
We have provided those comforts and wide field
There is no shortage of anything to feel
Play and enjoy at complete will
Some tears rushed to from eyes
I was visibly moved but failed in desperate try
Those were seen by children despite my precaution
I thought I could have observed some caution
Who can take her place?
Only she and none can else
She is embodiment of love and care
You can find such figure no where
Today I find myself like big tree
Where children come and sit very free
They have no dearth for anything
They can think big and happily sing
But there was time when we had suffered
She was dying of hunger and no one offered
She lost no courage and kept us under her fold
She could visualize the bright future in the world
This is the one of the reason that I still miss her
In dead night some times I cry and unknowingly utter
'Mom, where you are and why you have left us'
I will wake up incautiously and smile thus
All mothers of world may be of same nature
As they have only goal of securing the future
Children must come up of age and show to all
Despite all odds, they have responded to all calls
I salute to her not for giving birth or reading
But injecting all kinds of good qualities of leading
It was she who taught me to stand fast
Never to loose courage and fight up to last
She just came and occupied my mind
I looked here and there to find
She just resurfaced in mind with so much kindness
I could not smile but certainly felt happiness on face
I could not smile but certainly felt happiness on face. I felt very good when reading this line.. Thank you, Sir.
