In Old Age/ After Losing So Many Friends

Rating: 5.0

In old age
After losing so many friends
And being left with few
Those who remain
Who we once had reservations about
Become desired company

We need others
And if we can no longer have our most loved friends
Less close one become more precious
‘Any port in a storm'
In friendship terms also.
