In Old Age/ One Must Learn To Find Times Poem by Shalom Freedman

In Old Age/ One Must Learn To Find Times

In old age
One must learn to find times
To forget about despair

Morning is a good time
First light and sun
The world beginning again

Only the light and the colors
And the beauty of what one sees

Feeling without thinking
As if all of reality
Is only these blessings of the moment.
