O you dear dame la belle,
Poets’ tools you use so well,
Their design in you I smell,
On your excellence I yell*!
Ivory towers the poets select,
In tranquility emotions recollect,
On incongruities of life reflect,
From impending disasters protect.
Pleasure and pain they introspect
And a worthy life style suggest
How to make our life a jest?
So as our life becomes a fest.
Perfect lines and perfect rhymes,
Become the life’s real enzymes.
* in joy
This poem was written in praise of Rani Turton's poetry.
An eloquent tribute to a poetess who is indeed worthy of the name. Warm regards, Sandra
wonderful poem, a perfect way of admiring and appreciating another poet
very well written in praise of a poet....the flow and the rhyme appreciable
A fine tribute...scribed with erudite craftsmanship and mellifluous structural movement. Well done. ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
it is really a wonderful poem. You have defined the poet's job fantastically. The poets can derive inspiration from any object of nature.Sometimes it happens with the help of emotions recollected in tranquility and sometimes by becoming completely impersonal.

The poets have an automatic photographic plate which takes the blue print of the surroundings all the times and release the coloured prints gradually when tranquil… the emotional ambience of their literary work is fabricated with descriptions of feelings of patriotism, sanctity, hope, above all romance … in the mind and the emotional perception of the reader…. As I am a literature freak I really admire your style and substance both being sublime…The Wordsworth in you is precipitated in your poems and also the glimpses of many classic poets…
