In Search Of Dreams Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

In Search Of Dreams

My dreams were hiding
In a box with my
Pink diamond studded shoes.
When the lid was carelessly removed,
My dreams scattered in the wind.
So, if you find some hapless, hopeless
Dreams wandering, this is an urgent request,
They belong to me!
Please return with care!

Very imaginative. It reminds me of 'Pandora's Box' but that was a different story. I think I can start a 'Lost & Found Dreams Bureau' now. This could be a lucrative business. Just joking. Thank for this wonderful poem.
