In Seeking Answers - Poem by Barry Middleton
In seeking answers,
the science of intuition
explores the house of mystery.
Rattling in the attic,
the secret bones of gods
enumerate stars and fireflies.
the shadowed side of things,
far off lands hiding in darkness.
And culture spins,
in fairy tales and legends,
pacifying dreams of innocence.
But mystics speak
to reveal the arcane truth,
to open the locked door of time.
