In September Poem by Hebert Logerie

In September

Rating: 5.0

We are in September
Summer just lost her limbs
Her warmth, her beauty and her tenderness.

The temperature begins to cool off
You, the perfect perfid, just left
With your hair full of old age.

Oh! Things don't remain the same
Everything changes and melts like cream
Like the sleet of the last storm
It's sad almost for nothing we fuss.

A thousand thoughts dull me and a thousand reflections
Worry me. I can't put everything in the poubelle
Of oblivion. Forward, I want to go with extreme passion
Since faded and fumbled flowers are no longer beautiful.
