In sunshine, I will stand beside you,
where light wraps around us like an easy promise,
where laughter comes without asking,
and the world feels wide, open, endless.
I will be there when joy spills over,
when your steps are light,
when the sky writes poems in colors
only your heart can read.
But in the shadow, I will be there too--
not to chase the dark away,
but to sit with you inside it,
where silence speaks louder than words,
and presence is the softest kind of comfort.
I will hold the space when the weight feels heavy,
when the road disappears beneath your feet,
when hope is a distant echo,
and all you need is someone
who won't let go.
In both-the easy light and the aching dark-
I will be there,
not as a hero, not as a cure,
but simply as someone
who sees you,
all of you,
and stays.
