In The Absence Of Words Poem by R B Seals

In The Absence Of Words

To declare 'n cite, choice words ensue;
Special, an opinion brought your way,
Said in biased verse—a heartfelt view.
A truth reaffirmed each year in May.

Love's radiance, unbound—always there;
A child "warmed" by the light in your eyes,
Sent without voice, punctuates the air—
Absent the wherefores, what ifs 'n whys.

Held in glory, a precious task carried out;
A function maternal, nurtured to convey
Heaven's render.To fore by witness 'n tout;
Thus we honor, we celebrate Mother's Day.
