Interlude Poem by R B Seals

Interlude

Rating: 5.0

Surreptitiously, I
Gaze upon your face
Set in deep repose,
Offering scant clues of
A special, inner place.

Upon your face a smile
Develops and hints of a
Loved one only you can see.
Sadly, an affaire de coeur
That leaves no room for me.

R B, I love this poem and am going to rate it a ten even though it contains one small typo that I'm sure you will fix later. In line eight, I'm sure you meant LOVED ONE instead of LOVED ON.
