In The Course Of Life I've Listened Poem by Mohammad Younus

In The Course Of Life I've Listened

In the course of life I've listened,
Under countless galaxies,
And in more than one universe,
The divine melody in every song,
That the objects of manifestation hum;
Only one constant rhythm, Hu, from every side,
To which through night and day,
My heart would drum;
Beside me, my lord, You've always been,
In tempests fierce, and storms so wide;
In Your musical embrace, I always find,
Peace and love;
By every tune of Your music,
Each tear You wipe off my cheeks;
In every challenge of my life,
It's evident You care for me;
You are my anchor,
Whenever weather turns unfair;
With Your music, every burden of life,
I feel light to bear;
Your touch of light sets my soul on fire;
Like a whirling dervish I dance,
To the great Symphony of Your flute,
With grace and flair,
That never seems to tire;
That great symphony You know I adore,
Because for countless times, You made,
My heart to feel Your all time presence,
In me and around;

I thank You more and more,
For getting me off,
From the temptations of nafs;
So much more for revealing,
The divine knowledge and wisdom to me!
