Jasmine
stains the air.
You kiss me
in darkness
and the darkness
of your hair
flutters against
my closed eyes
your mouth
appears out of nowhere
a soft unseen
surprise
only the jangle
of your earrings
gives you
away
that
and the desire
that your tongue
searches out
I, in turn
seek you out
kiss your mouth.
Jasmine
stains the air.

A perfume, an after-shave....a fragrance remembered 20 years later still stirs the senses...the memories...the feelings....the love and longing...
