Plaguing days at noon
Scorching sunshine in the month of June
I visited an orchard.
Saw mangoes loaded on trees
Entices that flies and bees
Singing and dancing up and down
In the orchard all round.
Easterly wind blew very cool
At one stroke calmed full,
Filled the holes by some owes,
Enchanting of cuckoos and sparrows
Relieved from a deep sorrow,
And gave a feeling of nature's boon
Such was the song's tune
There I lay under the bower
Real pleasure did it shower,
And took a breath very deep
In the lap of nature fell asleep
Not like ever before,
In the atmosphere around clean and pure.
For a while, out of worldly pain
Wish to visit again and again,
And owe to the God, for its gift,
What has been endowed indeed!
The birds, trees, animals and flowers,
Benefiting every moment every hour
Despite, it's exploitation is unstopped
knowing the benefit, knowing the loss.
