Intended:
Quite often
I recall the phrase
'mergers and takeovers',
Some succeed ~ others fail!
I became familiar with the words
when I once typed the Treasurer's mail.
I knew nothing of its meaning,
or what I was dreaming then
but the phrase has always
stayed in my head...like
the wartime phrase of
'Lease and Lend'
