In the plains of your eyes
flamingos dance at a saltpan,
in the ocean of your body
dolphins do jump through the waves,
the sun of your smile
remains the shadow of my memories
and the ripple of your voice,
washes out your thoughts to me
as if in your humanity,
I find a whole hidden world
where the redbreast sings in your tears,
the bush-shrike frolic in your walking away,
where butterflies do flutter away from your lips,
in my remembering of how your kisses are.
