In the presence of stars,
why gather what already gleams?
Do they withhold their shine—
a twinkle, a spark—
from any gaze that dares to rise?
Nothing stands between
the stars and we.
Only those tethered,
bound to the mist of doubt,
watch light dissolve.
In the haze of illusion,
they fight just to survive.
But when we surrender
the weight of what could be,
tearing away the veil
of what was never ours to hold,
leaving shadows behind—
we find the glow
that hums between
our hearts and the sky.
And if tears should gather,
let them trace His reflection.
For even the darkest sky
shimmers with His gaze,
each breath a lantern
guiding us home.
