In the quiet night, I see a river
Of music, a heart's silent melody,
Each tune a verse, a silent poem sung,
In realms where divine silence softly speaks.
Is this death or the rise of new life?
The weight of existence now lifted high?
I lose myself in the relentless music,
A soul content, a heart at perfect peace.
I've built a sacred home, a fortress strong.
In this divine space, I choose to linger,
Bathed in the pure presence, a soul's rapture,
The music's ecstasy I fully embrace.
No longer does God test me with deep pain.
My strength does not falter; I grow stronger.
The shadows of dark nafs no longer stretch,
Consuming my divine light from within.
Blessed with a mind at peace, God speaks to me.
Great secrets learned in the quiet of night,
In life's deep school, I study and learn.
Each dawn, new heights I climb, my self aware,
Enlightenment deepens. Oh God, hear me,
Do not be silent in my darkest hour.
You've drawn me nearer; do not let me fall.
I know you're watching, a power hidden.
In this endless struggle, you've revealed truth,
The oneness of your being clear to me.
