In the quiet sanctum of the soul,
Let the doors be gently closed,
Shielding the tender cedar forests,
From the ravaging tongues of flame.
May the verdant boughs of goodness,
Within you remain untouched,
By sorrow's bitter tears,
For they are the sacred groves within,
Where Virtue takes root and flourishes.
Stay your hand, oh wayward self,
And spare the lush emerald forests,
Thriving within you.
Listen, instead, to the lamentations,
Of the celestial songbird, your spirit,
Whose pastures lie ravaged,
By the inferno of discord.
Hear the anguished cry of the Shepherd,
Bereft of grazing lands for His beloved flock.
Rejoice, oh tranquil spirit,
For in the verdant valley of the heart,
The thickets have sprung anew,
Untouched by the sickle of the evil ego.
It is a testament to the boundless grace,
Of the Benevolent One,
Whose mercy knows no bounds.
He is the Merciful One
We should know Him as He truly is.
