In The Realm Of Unanswered Questions Poem by Mohammad Younus

In The Realm Of Unanswered Questions

In the realm of unanswered questions,
My heart echoes a persistent truth: "I am."

Am I a fallen Adam, seeking forgiveness
For treading too close to the forbidden tree?
Am I caught in Awagawan's cycle,
Bound by karma's weight from lives long past?

Perhaps my memory's archive lies in ruins,
Its files lost, devoured by time's silent roaches—
A sigh for paths forgotten, secrets obscured.

Does destiny guide each step I take,
Or do I carve my path with every thought?
Am I a traveler on trails divinely wrought,
Or an architect of my own fate?

Do I radiate cosmic energy,
Or generate it deep within my soul?
Am I a manifestation of the divine,
Or a wanderer lost in the wilderness?

Am I a lamp with a single flame,
Or a twin-flame searching for its other half?
Do I mirror light from a distant sun,
Or burn as a sun in my own right?

Have I ignored green flags waving gently,
Only to find myself in fate's red zone?
As time slips by, I stand uncertain—
Which lesson must I embrace?

O "I Am"! O Truth!
I am caught in a time loop,
Where your face haunts each waking hour—
Yesterday lingers; in dreams, you stray.

I know I cannot erase you—
This truth is mine; I cannot disown:
There is none and nothing but "I Am."
Yet in my nights and in my mornings,
I seek to know and be "I Am"—
Not to love a phantom of my mind.
