In The Stillness Of Being Poem by Mohammad Younus

In The Stillness Of Being

If you are searching,
pause.
For true discovery begins
not in the chase,
but in the quiet,
in the breath between steps,
where the world holds its silence
and whispers its secrets.

God is not lost,
nor a distant star
to be pursued.
God is the stillness
that cradles your restless heart,
the presence that waits
for your eyes to open,
for your soul to awaken.

When the moment arrives,
you will see—
not with the eyes that seek,
but with the vision that knows.
You will awaken,
and in that awakening,
enlightenment will bloom
like a lotus in the dawn.

How can the finite hold the infinite?
It cannot.
Your mind, bound by walls,
will crumble before the vastness,
and in its surrender,
confusion will dissolve
into wonder.

In that wonder,
the unseen will unfold—
the One who reigns
over all that is,
all that was,
all that will be.

Your illusions will fade,
the veils of separation
will tear asunder,
and the dreams of duality
will rest at last.

You will know,
in the stillness of being,
that you have always been home.
