At the height of this affliction
Where my resources have failed
My endeavors rendered naught
And pain and shame deepening
I lift my eyes beyond the horizon
I set my hope on the High places
Before the throne of the Most High
In whose arm my deliverance rests
Here at the feet of the Almighty
I rest my cares and all my concerns
And my failings to his sovereignty
To engage every chore and activity
With diligence, integrity and hope
I labor with faith and love in hand
As I wait for his timely deliverance
And with prayers and thanksgiving
To Him who alone is the reaper and
Possessor of Eternal Praise and Glory
