In Their Narcissistic Way Poem by Francis Duggan

In Their Narcissistic Way

So many live their lives in their narcissistic way
The look at me people in the Human World of today
Their three favourite people are me, myself and I
This is how they will be until the day they do die
They only talk of theirselves and of how successful they are
Of their marvellous family and big house and new car
Their own praises they only do love to sing
To be always centre of attention is their favourite thing
Their sort no longer rare but in truth one can say
That they cannot help it if they are this way
Since in this twenty first century peoplefor success with each other compete
The Narcissistic type one does regularly meet
Competition for attention and success to narcissism gives rise
And the narcissistic person only grows older but does not grow wise.
