These times ain't no different than any other time.
Ignorance has a solid grip on the throats of the young and old.
It's here to stay; like hubris it will never go away.
The threat of total annihilation rises with the sun,
Each and every day over everyone.
What kind of people are we? Is murder fun?
Why do leaders tell us the same lies since we were cave men?
Why does Church and state thrive with hate, calling it fate?
What's in it for them? Why no peace? Why mayhem?
Are flags responsible for all of this?
Who's next, betrayed by a kiss?
