For a whole manner of things which don't exist.
They inhabit imaginative worlds.
They're only 'alive' in a commercial sense.
For they help to sell a vast range of products.

Thanks Michael...I'm currently studying sociology: short course at my local university. I had a brilliant discussion with the lecturer this week, about so called postmodern culture, and it inspired me to write the poem.
