In This Moment Poem by Randy McClave

In This Moment

As I see you in this bar
I nervously swallow another drink,
I know that you're as beautiful as you are
As I solemnly ponder as I think.
Keep your head straight and tall
You look so beautiful when you smile,
Never lean forward or you're crown will fall
Then your own presence you will defile.
The happier you are the more beautiful you become
You are the icon unto your true beauty,
And I speak this sipping water and not drinking rum
Giving joy and happiness is your truest duty.
You are so very stunning as I stare
I think that your beautiful smile everyone should see,
And I bet that you're amazing no matter what you wear
I sound like that I'm in love, as I look with glee.
Your smile might be the reason why other are smiling
Like fine wine beautiful people gets better with age,
You're gorgeous as I watch you styling
And I believe your glamorous or fabulous on any stage.
If I were an artist I know that I would paint you
But, I know that as a painter I would sadly blow it,
How can a man paint a rainbow or that of love true
Especially when this man is just a poet.
I want to be your friend and never your opponent
I don't know or care if you're someone's girlfriend or wife,
But, I am so very happy in this one precise moment
Because, this moment is your life.
