In This Spring Poem by DM W

In This Spring

Rating: 5.0

In this spring, green pulses of rhythm and rhyme
Flow through the weary, old, blue veins of Time.
In this spring, the new wine transmogrifies
Into the blood that drives the greater Light.
In this spring, the wintry decay now fades.
Witness the birth of sweet miracles: shades,
Colours and hues- flesh pinks and violets!
When the darkness sets in, these bright moments,
I'll remember and cling to like a child.
For all that's warm and wild is bound to die.
