In Your Absence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In Your Absence

Rating: 5.0

I shall swim
In your smile
As it seems deep
For me 5o be cheerful and keep

It is life line
That makes me to feel fine
I always look at you
And try to read through

You always speak with confidence
That provides me energy at once
I try to seize its essence
And try to find out golden chance

I miss everything
In your absence
And pray for your daily presence
I look sadly across fence

My memory is filled with your appearance
In memory, you stand with smiling face
I try to catch glimpse
But fall back with remorse

Absence is hard for the soul to accept. Thus, we keep looking for familiar faces, even if circumstance erases them from our daily life. Resonating piece of poetry. PEACE
