Incomparable Poem by Henry Kriescher

Incomparable

I've seen the glow of stars on starry nights
Gloried in the beauty of a setting sun;
I've seen the splendid dance of northern lights
And shared the rainbow's smile at storm's last fun.
Much beauty have I seen to warm my heart
And woo my mind and soul to tenderness,
I've heard majestic music of Mozart
And known the passions born of happiness.
These precious moments have I known before,
I've kissed the heavens and I've touched the earth --
The glory of the land, the restless shore --
But without you all these of little worth!
Your beauty like bright comet in the sky,
None like you, star most pleasing to my eye.
