India of my future
for the generation, to ensure
that peace and happiness
it should be seen on the face
hatred and love have deep roots
how can you shoot one innocent?
how can you present?
India of Bapu's model
millions of poor and downtrodden
they are not protected even
forget about the surety of their survival
full honour to, from up to down, individuals
when will peasants stand up?
when will there be sympathy and understanding!
this will go on unending
but we shall stand up and face
India has a long tradition
to stand up a powerful nation
promote no bitterness
and try for happiness
