ઇન્દિરા ગાંધી પ્રતિષ્ઠ પુરસ્કાર Indira Gandhi
ઇન્દિરા ગાંધી પ્રતિષ્ઠ પુરસ્કાર
માં મને તું ખુબજ સાંભરે
તારી એક એક વાત મને યાદ અપાવે
આપણી ગરીબી અને આપણી સ્વમાની રહેણીકરણી
ખુબજ મહેનત અને મુઠ્ઠીભર કમાણી।
મને તું સથવારો આપતી
દરેક વખતે પ્રોત્સાહન અને સહારો આપતી
મારા લશ્કર માં જોડાવા અંગે પણ તું સાહસ બતાવતી
'તુ જ તો હતી અને સજળ આંખો એ કહેતી'
'લોકો કહેછે તું શૂરવીર બાળક ની માતા છે'
જૈનકુળ માં થી કોણ આવી સાહસિકતા બતાવે છે?
પણ મને તારી આંખો માં દરિદ્રતા નો દરિયો દેખાતો
તને કૈંક કરી બતાવવાની હું સ્પષ્ટ ઝંખના રાખતો।
વાંચવાનો મને ઘણોજ શૉખ
રાત દિવસ કરું ગોખ ગોખ
ખુબજ વાંચન અને ખુબજ હઠાગ્રહ
સારા પુસ્તકો નો રાખતો આગ્રહ।
આવો પ્રતિષ્ઠિત પુરસ્કાર મેળવીને દિલ ગદગદ થાય
જે સ્કૂલ માં હું ભણ્યો તેની વિશેષ યાદ આવી જાય
મારા વડીલ શિક્ષકો અને ગ્રામજનો નો વિશેષ સહયોગ કહેવાય
તેમને જેટલા સ્મૃતિ માં જાળવીએ એટલું પણ ઓંછુંજ કહેવાય।
